On Archer and Bell with John Michaels

Tuesday February 11 2014

Tuesday on Archer and Bell with John Michaels:

-AJC Braves beat writer Dave O'brien joined us to get ready for pitchers and catchers reporting Thursday in Orlando. Dave told us that Alex Wood has yet to have his role for the coming season be defined. He also talked about the Craig Kimbrel situation.

-Johnathan Vilma had some interesting comments about the acceptance of a gay player such as Michael Sam in the NFL. Mike and Arch generally agree with what Vilma said, specifically the part about the problem being knowing that the player is gay.

-The Braves announced that they will wear a memorial patch for the 40th anniversary of Hank Aaron's 715th home run, so we asked the listeners in our poll question who they thought the real home run king was.
