-Fox Sports football analyst and former Zone personality Coy Wire joined us to talk about the Falcons and news around the Pac-12. Coy talked about the surprises college football brings every Saturday and Lane Kiffin's firing. Coy also talked about which conference might challenge the SEC.
-With the government shutting down for the foreseeable future the effects have crossed into the realm of sports. The service academies learned today that they will not be able to travel to away games during the shutdown. The guys talked about the situation at the start of the show.
-Lane Kiffin, former head coach at USC, was fired in the airport Sunday and it left a void at one of the premier coaching jobs in college football. The guys feel like Kiffin was in over his head from the beginning at each of his head coaching stops, and talked about possible replacements at Southern Cal.
