-Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson joined us to get ready for the Jackets' big game Thursday night against Virginia Tech. Coach Johnson told us his team is beaten up after the game with North Carolina and talked about Vad Lee's ball security. Coach also elaborated on the success of the ACC thus far.
-ESPN play-by-play analyst Rece Davis joined us today as well. Rece will be calling the Georgia Tech game with Virginia Tech tomorrow night. Rece told us that the Thursday night games are great about half of the time and that Vad Lee has added a new dimension to Tech's offense. Rece also gave us some insight into the Dawgs' match-up with LSU.
-Atlanta Falcons running back Jacquizz Rodgers sat down with Arch today in preparation for the game with the Patriots Sunday night. Quizz told us that he has learned a lot from the addition of veteran running back Steven Jackson and also that finishing games is the focus of the team.
-We had our weekly chat with Falcons President and CEO Rich McKay today as well. Rich explained the measures the league is taking with helping players in preventing DUI's as well as the new targeting rule. Rich felt that the crown of the helmet rule is making good progress.
