Wednesday on Archer and Bell with John Michaels:
-Johnny Manziel is back in the news this weekend and now he and his father have been featured in an article for ESPN the magazine. The Heisman Trophy winner's dad is reportedly worried about his son's mental health given the tear he has been on during the off-season. Arch and John both feel that "Johnny Football's" dad needs to be a father, not a friend.
-The NFL is tweaking the system they use to determine teams for the Pro Bowl at the end of each season. The league will now elect two former players as captains and pick a 43 man roster for each team. Kickoffs will also be eliminated in an effort to reduce injuries and make the game more entertaining. Make and John are less than thrilled about the changes.
-The Braves won their fifth straight game last night beating the Colorado Rockies 11-3 on the shoulders of Freddie Freeman and Brian McCann. It was a big night for some of the young guys as Alex Wood got his first career win and Todd Cunningham got his first career hit.
