Friday on Archer and Bell with John Michaels:
-Our summer college football preview continued with Don Bailey, color analyst for the Miami Hurricane's. Don told us that Miami should be expected to win the ACC every year, but their defense is not where it needs to be. He also talked about the ongoing saga with the NCAA and feels there is a black cloud over the program. Don gave us his feelings on a possible sanctions as well.
-The Hawks drafted two non-American players last night, but fans were confused because of the draft trade rules. The guys aren't sure what to think about the picks, but think that they could be fun and marketable. They found the draft very hard to follow however, and do not like the way the NBA Draft works.
-The NBA Draft broadcast crew for ESPN sparked a lot of debate as Bill Simmons called out Doc Rivers for leaving the Celtics. A lot of people were not a fan of Bill Simmons on the broadcast, and the guys felt that ESPN's basketball coverage cannot compare to TNT's "Inside the NBA."
