On Archer and Bell

Friday May 3 2013

Today on the show:

  • The Hawks have a huge game 6 tonight down at Phillips Arena. Are they tough enough to force a game 6? Or will this be the end of the Hawks season tonight? John and Arch will break it down and tell you why the Hawks must come out with more energy if they are to win tonight. We will talk Hawks coming up at 2:32.

  • The Braves had yet another lackluster offensive performance last night as they managed just one run and only 5 hits. They fell for the second night in a row to the Nationals 3-1 and split the 4 game series with their division rivals. The Braves will welcome the Mets to town starting tonight. At 3:02, Hans will join John and Arch and give his thoughts as to why the Braves are struggling.

  • We will also break down the other NBA playoff action from last night as the Nets went into Chicago and forced a deciding game 7 with the Bulls. They beat Chicago 95-92.

  • In the other series, it was Golden State closing out the Nuggets 4 games to 2 and moving on to the second round.

  • Coming up at 2:18 with John and Arch, after ESPN and the SEC announced they will form their own network John asks the question, can any other conference keep pace with what the SEC is doing? We talk about the new television network and what it means for the landscape of college football on Friday's show!
