Today on The Show

  • At 12:32 we had JC Shurburtt on for two segments! He gave out some great insight into recruiting all across the southeast .He talked about recruiting in the state of Georgia and why some top prospects have left the state over the last couple of years. Click below to hear his thoughts on why UGA has not locked down this state:

  • During the second hour of the show we talked about the possibility the Falcons will cut Michael Turner and John Abraham. Reports have surfaced saying the team might cut them to save money in cap space. We took several callers saying the Falcons would be smart to let them go and get younger players.

  • We discussed potential draft needs the Falcons have and ways they can go about filling those needs. Hans mentioned the website draftek.com as one he relies on to give him tons of info regarding each team as the draft approaches.

  • During the final segment we discussed the early 2013 Heisman trophy odds. Mike and Hans each said their early favorite to win the award is Johnny Manziel. However each pointed out that it is extremely hard to win the award two years in a row.
