On The Red Zone

Friday March 1 2013

Today on the show:

  • The Falcons decided to release three veterans today and no better day to talk about it than today with Wes and Doug Chapman in studio.

  • The guys pointed out that with the decision to cut the three players, the Falcons will save almost $19 million in cap space. This hopefully will enable them to make other moves to improve the team.

  • Hans cited Dwight Freeney and Stephen Jackson as two possible guys the Falcons could acquire with the added cap space.

  • We took several callers sounding off on the issue and giving their opinions on what they think the Falcons should do with the new cap space money.

  • It was an all Falcons show today as we hammered home the breaking news from earlier in the day and sounded off on what the future hold for the team.
