On The Red Zone

Today on the show:

- At 1:48 during our final segment of the show UGA AD Greg McGarity joined the program to get us up to date on a variety of subjects. He talked about his new plan for young alumni to have the opportunity to buy cheaper season tickets for football and the problems the SEC is facing in men's basektball.

- He also had an interesting answer when asked about the possibility of the SEC going from an 8 game conference schedule to a 9 game conference schedule. He did not deny that possibility and even hinted at the fact that it could be coming sooner rather than later. Click below to hear his thoughts on the situation:

 

- Mr. McGarity then talked about his new program he is implementing that allows for young alumni to purchase discounted tickets to Georgia football games. He cited one reason for coming up with the new program was because attendance has been down over the last several years at Sanford Stadium. He talked about some of the reasons why attendance has fallen in the audio below:
