Inside The Locker Room

Friday in The Locker Room, Alge and JP talked about Thursday night's bizarre and record-breaking season opener in Denver between the Broncos and Ravens and JP asked Alge about the Ravens getting frisked prior to taking the field and Crump said it's commonplace for NFL players to get a 'pat-down' from officials in the tunnel before games.

Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith joined us for the first of his weekly visits to The Locker Room and he talked about the need to get rid of the first game butterflies and focus solely on stopping Drew Brees and the Saints, and that's especially important for the rookies in the secondary that will be counted on for meaningful snaps on Sunday.

And we spoke with ESPN's Paul Finebaum, who told the guys that not only will Georgia not contend for a national championship, they won't even be in the conversation for an SEC title again anytime soon.

But he didn't stop there!
