Wednesday in The Locker Room

Wednesday October 30, 2013

Wednesday in The Locker Room:

  • The Falcons have dismissed the notion for weeks now, but the media just couldn't let go of the notion that the team trade Tony Gonzalez prior to yesterday's NFL trade deadline. The deal wasn't made and the future Hall-of-Famer is still a Falcon. We'll discuss the decision with you and talk to GM Thomas Dimitroff at 8:02.
  • Georgia/Florida week is upon us and both teams are limping to Jacksonville saddled with injuries and the notion of a lost season in tow. We'll hear from Georgia players throughout the show, break down the game with Tony Barnhart at 9:02, and ask you a simple question: Who NEEDS this game more?
  • The Miami Heat received their championship rings, raised another banner and the 2013-14 NBA season is officially underway. The Hawks open their campaign in Dallas tonight against the Mavericks and we'll preview all the action with Hawks Small Forward Kyle Korver at 9:35.
