The North Team coached by the Atlanta Falcons coaching staff wrapped up their Wednesday practice this morning, a workout viewed by many as the most important practice of the week because it is the final opportunity for the players to work out in front of NFL brass in full pads. Scouts, general managers and head coaches from many NFL teams were on-hand including Pittsburgh's Mike Tomlin, the New York Jets' Rex Ryan, Minnesota's Mike Zimmer, Cincinnati's Marvin Lewis and Houston's Bill O'Brien.
Pittsburgh Defensive Tackle Aaron Donald continued to open eyes for his stellar play this week and Notre Damn Offensive Tackle Zack Martin garnered rave reviews for his efforts on the other side of the ball. The news wasn't so good for UCLA's Shaq Evans and Virginia Tech's James Gayle who left practice with injuries.
The morning workout was also highlighted by the presence of Broncos executive and all-time great John Elway as well as Scott Pioli, moments after news broke that he will be the new Falcons Assistant General Manager.
The teams continue their practices through Friday with the Senior Bowl itself taking place on Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile.
