Memorial Day for me means The Indy 500 and one of my favorite pursuits...road tripping! When I was 9 my Dad and I drove to Indy from New York in his baby blue Olds Cutlass 442 for my first Indianapolis 500. It was supposed to be an 12 hour drive (with the old National 55 mph speed limit). We'd make it to our hotel in downtown Indy in just over 10 hours with a tourist-type stop along the way. Mike Bell Lights up the airwaves as Atlanta’s most entertaining afternoon guy. His knowledge of sports, hilarious bits, and impersonations has helped Bell win numerous radio awards including the Air Award for “Best Talk Show Host in Atlanta.”

Mike’s diverse talents have translated into numerous media opportunities. He has hosted Atlanta Braves’ pre-game show on Turner South, served as an anchor, reporter, and NASCAR expert for Fox Sports Net South.

Bell, though still a young guy, is a true radio veteran. He has spun records and entertained listeners everywhere from Bloomfield, West Virginia, to Miami, Florida, and is one of the few guys in the business that can proudly say, “I’ve never been fired.” Bell is currently living it up in Atlanta as The Zone’s ultimate single guy, and is just thrilled to be in a town where the women clearly outnumber the dudes.
