Steven Jackson is officially an Atlanta Falcon! General Manager Thomas Dimitroff joined us to break down the signing and told us that the powerful running back brings a lot to the table.
Dimitroff also said that the environment at Flowery Branch is especially conducive to veteran players like Jackson.
And DImitroff told Mayhem that he can sense that the Falcons organization and the city of Atlanta has become a prime destination for NFL free agents.
FOX NFL analyst and Super Bowl-winning coach Brian Billick also joined us and he said that with the addition of Jackson, the Falcons offense will create nightmares for opposing defenses next season.
Billick also told us that you can never underestimate a veteran player who has yet to taste team success in the NFL.
