  • Nick Saban has responded to FLorida Assistant Tim Davis calling him 'the devil himself' and in a word, the Tide's head man is unhappy. You'll hear his comments at 8:02.
  • Donovan McNabb is officially retiring as a Philadelphia Eagle this fall after wrapping up a solid NFL career, but is he a Hall-of-Famer? We'll ask the NFL Network's Brian Baldinger at 9:02.
  • The New York Knicks staved off elimination last night while the San Antonio Spurs sent the Golden State Warriors home for the summer. TNT's Ernie Johnson Jr joins us at 9:32 to break down the playoffs and talk about an inspiring new Twitter campaign and he the TNT guys have been working into their broadcasts.

Thursday on Mayhem:

  • Brady Ackerman told us that when coaching the Miami Dolphins, Nick Saban often avoided interacting with his players as often as possible.


  • Brady also told the guys that Tim Davis' comments were meant to fire up Will Muschamp, but he wasn't exactly a fan of how Davis phrased his words.


  • Mike North continued the conversation about Derrick Rose's no-show during the past season, telling us that there are many people to blame besides just Derrick Rose.
  • Mike then made an effort to relate with fans in Atlanta, giving us a hypothetical scenario involving Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins.

Thursday on Mayhem:

  • Last year it was James Franklin calling Nick Saban Satan, earlier this week Brady Hoke said Notre Dame was chickening out of their rivalry with Michigan and now we have the topper! Florida assistant Tim Davis has called Saban 'the devil himself!' CSS College Football analyst and Florida sideline reporter Brady Ackerman joins us at 7:30 to get us up-to-speed on this fantastic turn of events in the SEC!
  • The Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies closed out their respective playoff series last night and sent the Thunder and Bulls home for the season. If you listened last week you heard Chicago radio host Mike North promise Steakie some polish sausage should the Bulls not make it past the defending champs. Well...you know what they say about payback! Mike rejoins us at 9:02!

Wednesday on Mayhem

  • Former Falcons Running Back Warrick Dunn joined us to talk about earning his MBA from Emory, his transition to life after his playing days were over and what he told Vince Young when the Texas standout first broke into the NFL
  • Hall-of-Famer, one of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players and current Knicks analyst Earl "The Pearl" Monroe spoke to us about his playing days with Baltimore and New York and told us how he kept track of people who tried to put him down.

Wednesday on Mayhem:

  • The Social Media world went off its axis yesterday after the nation's top high school player Andrew Wiggins signed his letter of intent to play for Bill Self at Kansas. Tons of fans from rival schools took to Twitter to wish all manner of injuries, maladies and bad luck on the newest Jayhawk. When exactly did sports fans lose their mind? We'll ask you at 8:02.
  • Former Falcons Running Back Warrick Dunn followed up his stellar playing career with tons of charity and community work and he's capped it off with earning an MBA from Emory. How does he do it? He'll tell us at 8:18.
  • Golden State Warriors head coach Mark Jackson made waves earlier this week when he claimed his team has the best shooting backcourt in NBA history. Earl 'The Pearl' Monroe teamed with Walt Frazier to form the Knicks Championship backcourt of the early 70's, at 9:02 we'll get his opinion on Jackson's comments and more.
  • You might have missed this story yesterday, but Auburn announced that Braves pitcher and Tigers alum Tim Hudson is making a one-million dollar donation to upgrade their baseball facility. Auburn baseball coach John Pawlowski join us at 9:32 to talk about Huddy's efforts.

Tuesday on Mayhem:

  • ESPN and ABC's Voice of the NBA Mike Breen joined us and he told us that Oklahoma City may have been wiser in holding onto James Harden in the offseason to make one more high caliber run at an NBA title.
  • TNT analyst, Hall-of-Famer and friend of the show Charles Barkley also joined us and he used his relationship with Michael Jordan to descrive what he feels is missing in today's NBA.

Tuesday on Mayhem:

  • The Miami Heat have all but dispatched the Chicago Bulls after last night's blowout win, The Memphis Grizzlies also moved a step closer to the next round with a win over Oklahoma City. Who's moving and who's heading home in the NBA? We'll ask ESPN and ABC's Voice of the NBA Mike Breen at 8:32.
  • Are the Heat rolling to their second straight title? What exactly is going on with the Knicks? We'll ask these questions and more to friend of the show and TNT NBA analyst Charles Barkley at 9:02.
  • Notre Dame made waves earlier this year when they announced they will add a partial ACC slate of games to their football schedule to go along with their full conference participation in basketball and other sports. The move apparently doesn't sit well with Michigan head coach Brady Hoke, who said "We have unbelievable rivalry games at Michigan...that rivalry, which [Notre Dame] they're chickening out of ... they're still going to play Michigan State, they'll play Purdue; they don't want to play Michigan."

Monday on Mayhem:

  • Yahoo! Sports NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski told us that the Hawks have reached out to Stan Van Gundy's representatives about coaching the team, but that we shouldn't consider it a done deal by any stretch.
  • Tiger Woods went on to win the TPC on Sunday as Sergio Garcia imploded down the stretch. Much has been made over whether or not Tiger distracted Garcia during his shot, and while most find no fault with Woods, PGA golfer and friend of the show Billy Andrade told us that Tiger should have done the honorable thing and apologized.

Friday on Mayhem:

  • Daniel Snyder tells USA Today that he will not change the name of the Redskins as long as he owns team. Nick Cellini said point blank that if Native Americans say it offends them, it should be changed.
  • Brian McCann hit his first home run of 2013, as the Braves beat the Giants 6-3. Craig Kimbrel notched career save number 100, ending a stretch of poor outings.
  • The Great Derrick Rose Debate continued, and the guys all predicted that he would return to the court in uniform for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semis in Chicago.
