Promotions Department Interns Wanted:

 Position Summary:

Sports Radio 790 The Zone is looking to fill internship positions in the Promotions Department for the Fall 2012. Intern for the Best Sports Station in Atlanta, Georgia.  Work closely with professional sports teams in town including  Georgia Tech, and the Atlanta Falcons.  Not only will you work with the Pros in sports but you’ll work for the pros in business! Meet future, current, and past super star athletes while you learn the ins and outs of the sports and event marketing world. Spear-head promotions and learn how to write commercials for the station!  This is a great networking opportunity!

Interns will be responsible for the following job duties among others but not limited to the following:

• On Site Promotions & Activation
• Assisting Promotions, Sales, and Programming with day to day duties. 
• Attending production/brainstorming meetings
• Spearheading and Micro managing on site promotions.
• Organizing and Up Keep of Promotional Supplies
• And most importantly being a good ambassador of the station.

Skills

• Basic Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel)
• Basic Sports/Marketing/Promotional Knowledge
• Access to transportation
• Punctuality
• GREAT ATTITUDE!

This is a non-paid internship but however counts towards college credit.

Position Requirements: The above position requires, most importantly, the ability to interact with others in a very personable and outgoing nature. In addition, qualities that are looked upon as required are; organizational skills, the desire to learn, passion, motivation, and again, sociable. College credit is a requirement for this position. Also, required working hours are subject to change so a flexible schedule is essential.
