Promotions Department Internships
Start Date: 08/1/08 Position Summary: Sports Radio 790 The Zone is seeking highly motivated and outgoing individuals who are interested in learning the ins and outs of the marketing/promotions industry. Being a promotionally driven company, Sports Radio 790 The Zone relies on the promotions interns to become a true team member and get involved in all aspects of all promotions. Promotions interns will be responsible for the following job duties among others; brainstorming of promotional ideas, general office duties, managing on-site broadcasts and appearances, recapping of promotions, maintaining and organizing promotional items, and most importantly being a good ambassador of the station. Experience the many benefits of working for a leader in the sports radio industry such as developing new business relationships within the sports and marketing industries and gaining valuable hands on promotional experience. This is a non-paid internship but however counts towards college credit. Position Requirements: The above position requires, most importantly, the ability to interact with others in a very personable and outgoing nature. In addition, qualities that are looked upon as required are; organizational skills, the desire to learn, passion, motivation, and again, sociable. College credit is preferred, but certainly not required. Also, required working hours are subject to change so a flexible schedule is essential. Score Atlanta High School Beat Writers
Score Atlanta is looking for interns from the metro area to help us out with our five prep editions. Those that join will have opportunities to write beats for several local high school athletic programs as well as cover stories on occasion. You must be at least 16-years-old and prior experience, while appreciated, is not required.
