Growing up, in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Doug Stewart never dreamed of being a sports radio host. But, that’s precisely what has happened. Doug and his brother, Ryan followed the advice of friends one day and called up 790 The Zone to get some air-time to talk sports, and as their fans, affectionately known as “dogs and poodles” will tell you, the rest is history.

The 2 Live Stews debuted on Sports Radio 790 The Zone in 2001 and have watched legions of listeners grow from Atlanta to nationwide. The popularity of the show, which is best described as “from the basement style sports talk”, has gained recognition that Doug and Ryan have been asked to make regular guest appearances on ESPN 2’s First Take. In addition, the 2 Live Stews were named “Air Talent of the Year” by ESPN in 2005.
