John Michaels' Predictions:
AFC - Denver is spending another week hearing about how Peyton Manning can't beat the Patriots, and New England is getting patted on the back for their dominating running game vs. Indianapolis. Denver will be hard pressed to shut down the Pats, but no Gronk and a banged up receiver core will finally come back to haunt Tom Brady and co. Denver will enjoy home field advantage and what looks to be decent weather and throw for a 28-23 win over New England.
Key Matchup - New England LB core trying to cover Julius Thomas and containing Knowshon Moreno.
NFC - These 2 teams hate each other, so don't be fooled by Carroll and Harbaugh playing down to that fact. Seattle has won by over 20 the last 2 times in the Pacific NW, but expect this one to be a lot closer. Marshawn Lynch is a little more consistent running the ball than Frank Gore, and the could play a huge role. Also, I trust Seattle's secondary a tad more than San Fran. Seattle 19-16 over the 49ers.
Key Matchup - Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick...which QB can minimize mistakes and make plays in the passing game.
