Falcons help with life after football
-Atlanta Falcons To Hold Career & Franchising Event For Current And Former NFL Players-
Flowery Branch, GA – The Atlanta Falcons will hold a career and franchise event for current and former NFL players to connect with national employers for careers and franchising opportunities at the W Hotel in Buckhead on March 6 and 7, 2013.
Over 70 NFL Alumni players with over 400 years of playing experience will attend the event. Twenty‐four nationwide companies will be seeking to recruit and hire players at the event including UPS, The Home Depot, and Stryker. This NFL networking event will afford former NFL players and companies the chance to explore each other’s future employment opportunities.
All players’ resumes have been critiqued by human resources executives and they will go through mock interviews with recruiting professionals. On Thursday, the second day of the event, all players will go through formal job interviews for current positions available within the attending companies. Business leaders including, George Willis (UPS), Chris Dull (Global Franchise Group), Steve Bonomo (Adidas Group), David Lewis (Express Employment Professionals) will lead seminars for the attendees regarding today’s business climate.
