FALCONS PLACE DE KROY BIERMANN AND FB BRADIE EWING ON INJURED RESERVE
Flowery Branch, GA – The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have placed defensive end Kroy Biermann and fullback Bradie Ewing on injured reserve.
Biermann, 6-3, 255 pounds, was selected by the Falcons in the fifth round (154th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft out of Montana. In 82 career games, he recorded 193 tackles (147 solo) with 16.5 sacks, and a pair of interception returns for touchdowns (31 and 50 yards).
Ewing, 5-11, 243 pounds, was selected by the Falcons in the fifth round (157th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Wisconsin. He made his first two NFL starts in 2013, recording two receptions for 29 yards, including a career-long 15-yard reception at New Orleans.
