5 Things That I am Watching for This Week.
Tony Gonzales- Plain and simple if Tony's back the Falcons are once again a force to be reckoned with, if he exits for life on TV and his supplement company then the Dirty Birds will have an astronomical drop in that position and can no longer be considered the most prolific pass offense in the league.
SEC and ACC tournaments- Not exactly a stellar season for the power basketball conferences in our area but make not mistake, Duke, Miami and Florida could all be cutting down nets in Atlanta on a Monday night and they need to be playing well now in their conference championships. Also watch to see how Mark Gotfried has his NC State club playing this week, they could sneak in and win the ACC. Look for Alabama to potentially make a run in the SEC.
Wes Welker- If he resigns with Brady and the Pats he may end up in Canton when all is said and done, if he thinks Minnesota or Kansas City with the money they will offer looks good then he may become a 70 catch guy.
Hawks vs Miami- Jeff Teague has been playing lights out of late and if he has a monster game and the Heat are sleepwalking on Tuesday night then Atlanta could end the 18 game Heat winning streak.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope- One of the great players in the nation has a chance to send a message in the SEC tourney that he can indeed carry a team to big wins in big situations. Anxious to see how he gets after it Thursday night vs. LSU and then can he start pulling some upset magic?
