One of the "young guns" at 790 The Zone, Radin is in his first season as the host of the Hawks pregame and postgame shows as well as the co-host of the Miller Lite College Football Blitz along with the "soon to be famous" John Michaels.

A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Radin is a graduate of Emory University and has spent the last 10+ years soaking up the Southern Hospitality of the ATL.

While still a fan of the Michigan Wolverines, Radin is also an ardent fan of the Falcons, Braves, Hawks and Yellow Jackets. Favorite athletes include John Smoltz, Phillip Wheeler, Al Horford, Paul Hewitt, Adrian “A.D.” Peterson, Gary Sheffield, Charles Woodson and Desmond Howard. Most revered sports venues include The Thriller Dome, The Playoff/Highlight Factory, The Big House, Fenway Park and Madison Square Garden. Most hated athletes include Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, juicers, dopers, deadbeat dads, hypocrites, David Boston, Troy Smith and above-all, Jim Tressel.

Since 2006 Radin has served as the host of the Halftime Show on the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network. Additionally, beginning in 2008 Radin assumed the role of the pregame and postgame show host on the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network. Also, Radin has called all of the action of Georgia State Women's Basketball on the Georgia State Radio Network since 2003. Radin has been an instructor at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting (CSB) Dunwoody Campus since 2007.

While sometimes sarcastic, and always charming and debonair, Radin is making his move in the Atlanta sports scene.

The Hawks Are a Better Team
Posted 10/29/2008 6:45:00 PM
With the Hawks now just moments away from tipping off the 2008-2009 season here are five reasons why they are a better than a year ago:

1. Playoff Experience: Maybe not for the reason you think, but for the Hawks to see what happens when they buy-in and the fans buy-in, getting to the playoffs last year will be a huge boost. Plus, getting that taste of the good life keeps you hungry.

2. Bibby's Back: While Mike Bibby didn't evoke too many memories of his glory days with the Kings in the playoffs of the early 2000's the Hawks will be vastly improved by having him start the year at the point. Remember the uncertainty and difficulty surrounding this team at PG in the first half of last year. The trade for Mike Bibby is a true testament to the Atlanta Spirit proving that they do want to make ...

Brady's Legacy
Posted 9/12/2008 2:00:00 PM
One of our favorite conversations in sports is to evaluate legacies. Whether its the lasting accomplishments of a team, a player or an individual play, we always want to know "what is it going to mean?"

Well, Tom Brady's injury creates one of the most interesting litmus tests of all time. There may never have been a star that burned brighter than Brady's during the time from 2001 to 2007. He has 3 Super Bowl rings an an MVP award. Throw in an NFL-record 50 TD pass season and he's a surefire Hall of Famer. But to me the question is, how much will his accomplishments be tarnished if the Pats keep it up?

If Matt Cassel throws 25+ TD's, the Pats will 10 games, capture the AFC East and make it to the playoffs does that make Tom Brady...gasp...replaceable? Not that he isn't one of the 2 preeminent QB's ...

Deposit Slips
Posted 8/28/2008 1:00:00 PM

As listeners of the Miller Lite College Football Blitz hosted by myself and John Michaels will know, "deposit slips" are college football picks so good you can take them straight to the bank.

After every Georgia Tech football game this fall John and I will make the deposit slips rain for your "entertainment purposes." This summer we previewed every ACC and SEC school in advance of this Thursday night's kickoffs. With our research complete, as we discussed last Sunday on The Sunday Morning Hangover (heard every Sunday from 10am to 2pm) we have also drawn up our picks for the entirety of the 2008 college football season.

As we gave our own picks, we invited you to go "on the record" with us. For those that couldn't sound off then, do so here and now before the Jackets kick things off on Thursday night.

For those that didn't hear the ...
