Stock Market Report – By John Michaels

Well 1 week is down in fantasy football, and for those owners of Tom Brady, it has to feel like your season is in jeopardy already. Don’t fret, each week I will give you the risers and fallers in fantasy football as well as a top 10 player ranking. Also, for those Brady owners, don’t fear there are young QB’s who look like they are ready to step up their game.

Stocks to Buy!!!!
1. Eddie Royal – Boy did he make DeAngelo Hall look foolish on Monday night. 9 catches 146 yards and 1TD for the former Hokie was a great debut. Look for his production to drop a little with the return of Brandon Marshall, but buy now especially as your 3rd receiver or flex player.

Position Previews – By John Michaels

Last week we covered the rules of Fantasy Football drafting, so now it comes time for some position previews. This week we will cover WR’s, TE’s and Defenses. If you checked the blog, or listened this past Sunday, kickers do not need to be discussed!

Don’t expect that same production this year, as it will probably drop somewhere in the neighborhood of 90/1200/17, which is still enough to warrant a late 1st to early 2nd round pick.
  2. Reggie Wayne - ...

Draft Rules

Its almost that time of the year......FOOTBALL SEASON, and with football season comes fantasy football season. Here are 10 simple draft rules that will help you succeed in fantasy football, and maybe win a little cash and bragging rights in the process.

10. Be prepared for your draft. There are 100’s of sights, magazines, and especially shows like The Fantasy Zone where you can get plenty of information on potential draftees. Also, keep up to date on injuries….nothing worse than picking Anquan Boldin and realizing he is out for 10 weeks

9. Pick a kicker last! The difference between the top kicker Mason Crosby, and the 10th kicker Phil Dawson was 21 total points for the year. That is a difference of 1.5 points per week, which isn’t worth missing a potential steal.

8. Don’t fall into draft runs. Just because 5 people in a row take ...
