Do the Heisman

The Heisman Trust will take back the trophy from Reggie Bush that he earned back in 2005. Reggie received improper benefits. If you research the story, this he can't deny. I'm not in favor of this move.
To me, it's the same old argument about mixing what a player does on the field with what he does off. Some of the most famous examples are Pete Rose with gambling, Lawrence Taylor with dope and Michael Irvin with ... everything. I have always felt that pro athletes should be judged, recognition-wise, for what they did on the playing field. No more, no less. I'm pretty sure if you dig deep enough, every pro athlete has something they're not that proud of about themselves off the field.
So even though I thought Vince Young should have won the Heisman that year, I think Bush should keep it. What say you?

Death, Taxes and Brett Favre

So death and taxes are the only guaranteeds? Add drama from Brett Favre in the month of August to that list. If you haven't heard, dude is coming back to play Football for the Vikings. Again. How do you feel about it? I'm so "Favre'd" out its not even funny. I truly have no emotions on the subject like I did maybe five years ago or so. At this point ... it's comical. What say you?
Jets Training Camp Recap -- Day 1

Up here at Jets training camp, and boy, am I glad football is right around the corner! Antonio Cromartie, LaDanian Tomlinson, Jason Taylor, Santonio Holmes etc. Jets have a lot of big names, but will it translate into wins? Jets plus or minus 11 wins? Also who wins the AFC and why? I say, Jets win 11 games exactly and the Patriots win the AFC.
What say you?
Top 25 most hated teams of all-time

Sports Illustrated just came out with a list of their "Top 25 Hated Teams of All-Time." The number one team is the '86 Miami Hurricanes and number three was the '92 Dallas Cowboys. I totally disagree with that! Anyways, my most hated team is the '84 Boston Celtics. Beat my Lakers. Matter of fact, everybody I know hates the Celtics in some fashion.
Why weren't they on this list ... at all? Which all-time team do you hate and why?

Wow! I love Jessie Jackson and everything he's done for civil rights but he's wrong on this one. Jessie said Dan Gilbert had a "Slave Master" mentality with his letter on LeBron. Sorry, but if LeBron was a white dude named Chip and had embarrassed his team, city, state and fans on National TV... with how the Cavs bent over backwards to appease him for seven years, Gilbert would've done same thing.
